Terms of Service

These terms describe the Own The Bid service in plain language. They apply to this website and to anyone who books a call or buys the service.
Who we are
Own The Bid is a trade name of Paper St Marketing LLC, a company based in Los Angeles, California. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Paper St Marketing LLC operating as Own The Bid.
What this page is
This page is a summary, written so it is easy to read. It is not the full contract. The terms that legally bind us and a client are set out in the signed service agreement. If anything on this page differs from the signed service agreement, the signed service agreement controls.
The service
Own The Bid builds a paid-advertising lead funnel for a contractor and then manages it. The offer is one done-for-you service. There is no menu and no do-it-yourself version. The build takes 7 days.
What it costs
There are three separate amounts, and a client sees all three:
- The build: $2,500, a one-time fee, paid in full when the service agreement is signed.
- The management fee: $1,500 per month to run the funnel.
- Ad spend: a separate cost, described below.
Prices shown on this website are the published prices on the date shown above and may change. The price for any client is the price set in that client's signed service agreement.
Billing and cancellation
The build fee is due in full when the agreement is signed. The management fee is billed monthly. The monthly service is month-to-month. There is no annual contract, and a client can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing month. If a monthly payment fails, the service may be paused until payment is made.
Ad spend
Ad spend is the money paid to the advertising platform to run the advertising. It is a separate cost from the build fee and the management fee. The client pays the advertising platform directly, on the client's own card and the client's own ad account. We never hold, front, or take a cut of ad spend.
You own everything
The ad account, the domain, the funnel, the tracking phone number, and the lead data are created in the client's name and the client's business. We are given access to operate them. We do not own them. If a client cancels, the client keeps all of it. This ownership is written into the signed service agreement.
The 30-day rebuild guarantee
If, within 30 days of the funnel going live, it is not bringing the client qualified leads, we will rebuild the funnel at no additional cost and continue working on it. This guarantee is a rebuild. It is not a refund of fees paid, and it is not a payment of money. The specific terms of the guarantee, including how a qualified lead is defined, are set out in the signed service agreement.
No income or results guarantee
We do not guarantee any income, revenue, profit, number of leads, number of jobs, or any other business result. Marketing results depend on many things outside our control, including the client's trade, market, pricing, ad budget, and how fast the client follows up with leads.
Any numbers, ranges, or example math shown on this website or in our materials are illustrative examples only. They are not a promise or a projection of what any client will earn or receive. A client's actual results will differ.
Use of this website
This website and its content, including the text, design, and the Own The Bid name and mark, belong to Paper St Marketing LLC. You may read and share the pages. You may not copy the site or its content to pass off as your own.
Governing law
These terms and any service agreement are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in California.
Changes to these terms
If we change this page, we will update the date at the top. The terms that govern an existing client do not change unless that client's signed service agreement is changed in writing.
